Jean-Francois Morille:

has known since he was ten years old that he wanted to be a chef. He spent five years in the catering school of Saumur in the Loire valley where he also learnt pastry, bakery as well as service.

To improve his skills he decided to start his career abroad. His first stop was Geneva, Switzerland where he stayed for three years. Then he worked as a kitchen chef for the “Ministry of Defense” in Paris.

After a quick stop in England he followed his dream and went to the U.S.

His destination was “Chefs de France”, the restaurant of Paul Bocuse, Roger Vergé and Gaston Lenôtre, located in Orlando. He worked there as a kitchen chef for two and a half years.

He found love in Florida and decided to follow another dream which led him to Norway.

He worked in three different restaurants before he accepted the executive chef position in The “Grand Hotel” of Oslo. Among the guests that he served you could find celebrities, royalties as well as Nobel Peace Prize winners which he had the honor of meeting in person.
